Da Hike Order January 2025. 1.1.2025 representing an increase of 4% over the existing rate of 46% of the basic pay/pension, to compensate against price rise. The central government retrospectively raised the dearness allowance (da) and dearness relief (dr) for its employees and pensioners by 4 per cent, effective january 1, 2025.
As per the recommendations put forth by the 7th central pay commission, certain allowances are proposed to be raised by 25 percent once the da rate reaches 50 percent. Central government employees likely to get 4% da hike from january 2025.
